Thieves Steal $29K Worth of Devices From Another Apple Store
Some other week, another Apple Store heist.
The latest burglary occurred on Monday before 9 p.m. at an Apple tree Store in Costa Mesa, Calif. The Costa Mesa Police Section released video footage of the incident, which shows a grouping of five individuals inbound the Due south Coast Plaza Apple Store before ripping iPads and iPhones from the display tables and running away.
Police force say the thieves – all believed to be males in their early on to mid-20s – fabricated away $29,000 worth of devices. The group left the scene in a silver Infiniti sedan, law told the Orange County Annals.
"In that location were no injuries and no weapons involved," Costa Mesa law Sgt. Mike Manson told the newspaper. Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to call the Costa Mesa Constabulary Department detective bureau at 714-754-5637.
The heist follows similar incidents this month in Fresno, Calif. and Huntington Station, North.Y. The Fresno theft took place on Sat, July 7 when "iv black males entered the Manner Fair Apple Shop … and stole over $27,000 in phones and computers," law wrote on Facebook. A twenty-four hours earlier that, five hooded thieves stole more than $19,000 worth of iPhones from the Huntington Station Apple tree Store.

Pricey Apple tree devices have long been a popular target for thieves. Earlier this yr, crooks stole more than than $100,000 worth of Apple products from a Best Buy by breaking into the store through the roof. In November, 313 iPhone X handsets worth more than $370,000 were stolen from a UPS truck.
